Be completely honest; who do you really miss when you go on a business trip? Is it your better half, or is it your pets? We know that when we’re travelling around the UK and beyond it’s often our furry friends that we can miss the most. Now Clarendon has launched a pet-friendly policy at four of its buildings; you need never be lonely on the road again.
Clarendon Serviced Apartments now manages four buildings allowing pets; Manning Place in Richmond, Clarendon House and Gardens in Kew (which covers two separate properties), Wraysbury Hall in Staines Upon Thames and The Minories at Tower Bridge. There aren’t many serviced apartment providers, especially in The City, allowing pets into accommodation.
We’ve chosen the properties in our portfolio that best suit people travelling with pets, or those looking to relocate with family (or an animal entourage) that would prefer to bring their pets with them rather than use kennels or rehoming.
At Wraysbury Hall there are studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments set in 3.5 acres of land ideal for walking the dog. The land is on the edge of the River Thames with Windsor Great Park just ten minutes away.
The spacious two bedroom serviced apartments at Manning Place in Richmond are ideal for pets. Close to Richmond Park there is an added advantage of being able to take dogs for a walk. However, be careful to keep dogs away from deer, remember Fenton?
Clarendon’s apartments in Kew are close to both Kew Village and Kew Gardens. That means there’s plenty of space to walk pets that need walking while also being in a peaceful and tranquil setting.
At Clarendon House and Gardens, Wraysbury Hall and Manning Place there is also plenty of free parking, ideal for families or those who want to drive pets for a walk in a nearby park.
The Minories are close to Tower Bridge and our one and two bedroom apartments provide easy access to The City; a hidden gem for those with pets. There’s also the standard Clarendon offer of a fully fitted kitchen, spacious living area as well as a weekly housekeeping service and Wi-Fi and Freeview TV.
We know that there are some disadvantages to having pet-friendly accommodation on our books. There are some travellers who might not want to be close to any animals or pets. And we can’t accept every pet (those with elephants, yeah, you’re probably not going to get them in!). Yet we’ve done our best to ensure that pet-friendly means friendly to everyone. We offer a deep clean service to each apartment after a visit and we also have excellent sound proofing, so no barking to keep you awake at night. We also work hard to ensure the areas around each apartment development are kept clean and tidy.
If you are looking to stay in a pet-friendly apartment then explore our accommodation. We’re proud to be one of the few serviced apartment providers in London offering you the opportunity to bring your four-legged friend with you on the road.
