Following the Chancellors announcement on the 22nd June 2010, from the 4th Janaury 2011 the standard rate of VAT will increase from17.5% to 20%. All bookings made with Clarendon Serviced Apartments on and after the 4th January will be subject to the increased tax level. However, there is still time to avoid the increase. What’s more for bookings over 28 nights the remainder of the stay (providing there is no change of guest) is charged at the reduced level of 3.5%, after the 4th Janaury this increases to 4%.
