A faster and more efficient service from Clarendon in 2015

At Clarendon we are continuously ensuring our serviced apartments are meeting both the needs and expectations of our customers. We’re constantly working to keep to our high standards and to offer the latest in technology to our customers making sure their stay is as comfortable as we can.

Most of our guests come to us with a smartphone, iPod, iPad or other tablet device and they want to use them while they are staying with us. To make that as easy as possible we need fast and reliable broadband able to cope with multiple devices. It means our guests can work seamlessly from the office to apartment, day and night. Many of our apartments are migrating to 4G which allows a faster mobile connection. The advantage of that is speed and efficiency.

Our Covent Garden (Wellington Street, Litchfield Street, Rose Street, Chandos and West Street) have all migrated to 4G. In the next few months we will be extending that to our Tower Hill and City apartments as well as Richmond, Kew and Wraysbury Hall.

The benefit of 4G is that it allows a much faster mobile connection. It means when browsing on any device guests will have a faster download speed and more reliable streaming. It also ensures that when they are using a variety of different devices they will enjoy a fast download speed on each device which won’t affect their enjoyment; especially important if you’re working on a laptop while streaming a film for instance.

For Clarendon guests staying at Lanterns Court in Canary Wharf last year we installed faster broadband when we upgraded to a fibre optic connection with “Hyperoptic”. The feedback we’ve had is that this has been a real success so we’ll be extending the programme of upgrades to Discovery East Dock in Canary Wharf and our apartments at Clarendon Kew.

These aren’t the only improvements we’ll be making in 2015 but they’re the first step. We always get great feedback from our guests because we use review platform Feefo allowing each and every guest to let us know what they thought of their stay. That enables us to be able to make the changes our customers want and to prioritise the ones that are the most important. Our investment into the Wifi and broadband connections at our apartments in 2015 will make it easier for guests to get their work done but also to enjoy their leisure time across multiple devices.
