Clarendon has had a successful 2014 so here’s to the next 12 months!
Building on a strong foundation we have seen our stock grow this year and it isn’t going to stop in 2015. In the coming months, Clarendon will be extending our London portfolio adding new places across the capital where you can book an extended stay. We’ll have new accommodation in Soho and the West End and we’ll reveal all in 2015. Our experience over the last year and listening to the feedback from our customers has been that demand in the UK capital is continuing to increase so we don’t want to disappoint.
Over the past year we’ve seen business boom in London. Demand has never been stronger for serviced apartments as business travellers realise the benefit of living a flexible lifestyle when they’re working in the capital, either relaxing or on contracts. With new technology and startups with a greater level of investment in key areas of London’s business, travel is on the up and we believe more and more people will be coming to do business in the UK over the next year. And people who are doing business always need a place to stay.
Service continues to be at the core of Clarendon’s business. We use Feefo so if you stay with us you can review, for free and online publicly to tell people what you thought of your accommodation. That might be a risk for some providers but with 93% of our guests rating their stay as “excellent” we’re confident it’s the best way for potential guests to recognise the benefits of staying in a Clarendon serviced apartment. Over the past year responding to requests and feedback we’ve been upgrading and refurbishing all of our properties. We’re rolling out faster broadband in 2015 at each of our locations as our guests have said that this is, increasingly, one of the main features they want in a serviced apartment.
London doesn’t stop for business just because it’s Christmas so we’ll still be on hand over the festive season. We have guests who are staying in London to celebrate the holidays, whether on work or to bring their families together and enjoy everything that London has to offer over Christmas and New Year. Others might be slowing down but while we have guests in our apartments we know it’s vital we provide the same level of service as we would every other day of the year.
